Lesson 4: Download and Install Trading Application

Welcome to Forex lesson series and hope you follow Lesson 1,2 and 3. Also you have created trading account under me. If not pls follow this link. Once verified the account you need to start trading. So, to do that you need a some place to see currency rates. It called as trading platform and here we use meta trader-4 (MT4). You can find it under FOREX as given figure.

The software available fore all operating systems like Windows, Mac, Android,  iPhone, iPad. After downloading and installing correctly give your account details to login it (You need your account Real Number ). 

Here you need to familiar with this platform well. I added some notes below about flatform.

• Window shows 4 charts maximum once and you can added any currency pair to window by dragging it from Symbol window.
• There are 3 types of charts like Bar charts, Line charts and Candlesticks.  My favorite is candlesticks.
• You can see market in different time periods like 1 Minutes(M1), 5 Minutes(M5), 30 Minutes(M30), 1 Hour (H1), 4 Hour (H4), 1 Week (W1), 1 Month (MN1). So you can take decisions by comparing those time periods. (More details will be provided)
• If you need to add some notes (like text, lines, arrows, shapes,  ) within the trading charts, go to insert and select what u need.
• Also alarm sound is very useful some times and you can add it by right click on chart window and select trading and then click Alert. You can drag it any place as you want.
